That is interesting about Holborn because I am also searching for an 1851 & 1861 Census entries for 279 Holborn in that area but it does not state it was a street or anything really! Does this correspond with any address format that you recognise?

The eastern part of High Holborn lying in the parish of St.Andrews, Holborn is often shown on maps as 'Holborn'. Taking its name from the Holebourne or Fleet whose valley follows Farringdon Road north-south.
