Don't know if this will help you but Fred's birth name is HEINS, but I have found him using HEINES or HINDS and HINES

This is what the 1930 census says of Elsie:

East Chicago, District 122/10 Lake County

Hine, Elsie, wife,   aged 34, married , 25 at marriage, Born Wales, Parents both born Wales. Year entered US - 1920

Also the three daughters  all have mother's birthplace as Wales.

I'm still thinking about the 1901 in Handsworth that I listed. She married in Handswort (West Brom RD)

Does the marriage cert say 'Millicent' and aged 23 - or is it 25. 5 and 3 are easily mistaken.

It states her name as Elsie Millicent Burgess, age 23, Spinster, Residence 43 Holliday Road, Handsworth, Father Charles Burgess, occupation Turner.

I see Frederick was found arriving in 1920 unmarried, so we have to wonder whether we are looking at 2 different Frederick + Elsie Hines, especially as I can see this death in England:

Elsie Millicent Hines born 23 Dec 1898
Dec 1980 Bromsgrove 29 0037

The stated birth year is one year out. Yet I wouldn't discount the possibility that it's the same lady - maybe the person who registered the death was unsure.

(Added: There are Hines/Burgess children registered in West Bromwich in the mid 1920s)
