Celia A CRUSE Calstock -any help please

I have Celia A Cruse (b abt1862 Gunnislake) ,living with Richards family on 1881 census in Keighley W Yorkshire (a long story!) I would appreciate any help to find her birth and especially her parents.  I lost John Richards the father of the family (m to Ann Hooper) after 1851 census in Calstock. No record for any of them in 1861 and then Ann and sons are in workhouse in Shropshire in 1871, before arriving in Keighley in 1881. I have tried census, birth registers and Calstock online records but no Celia Cruse.  I wonder if this might give me some way to find out John Richards family members (a niece perhaps?) Any suggestions most welcome

Looks as if Ann has remarried and been widowed again, as she has surname Sunderland in this 1881

There is a Cruse family in 1871 in Gunnis lake, calstock
RG10 2145 96 23
but no 9 year old Celia with them - unless she is the 8 yr old 'Polly'

Hi Yes she remarried in 1877 to a local (Keighley) man.  I have traced her and Richards children (my husband is a 5 x gt grandson).  I have been able to go back quite a way with Ann Richards/Sunderland (nee Hooper), but John Richards b Tavistock remains mystery- his antecedents/family and what happened to him, most of all
