MOTTERSHEAD, Agnes and Margaret baptised in Manchester both came to Australia in 1864 aboard the HASTINGS.  According to the marriage certificate of Agnes her father's name was John and his occupation was a hawker.

MOTTERSHEAD, David baptised 11.1.1846, Agnes b: 4.12.1846 baptised 31.10.1847,  Margaret baptised 1.7.1849, Phillis baptised 29.03.1852 all in Manchester Cathedral.  Agnes and Margaret both came to Australia in 1864 aboard the HASTINGS.  According to the marriage certificate of Agnes her father's name was John and his occupation was a hawker.

Hi There

Cant find the Mottershead's your looking for in the 1861 census but there is a Agnes Mothershead residing in Bolton, lancashire as a lodger - born about 1847 and birthplace Manchester, she is a cotton weaver living at Spring Gardens Bolton Western District 16g- could this be your Agnes?

If so, have you tried any distorted spellings in your searches?

I have come to learn with the MOTTERSHEAD that anything is possible ... even to having three partners at the same time  ... not to mention children crossing over relationships
