Rothschild properties in London
« on: Saturday 28 August 10 00:23 BST (UK) »
I have only just joined this forum.  Please forgive me if I haven't put this message in the correct place.  If I need to put the question elsewhere could someone please advise me.

Does anyone know why some of the Brand and Randall families went from Wing to Islington. I know that many Wing individuals went to Acton to work for the Rothschilds there. Did the Rothschilds have another property near Islington???

Hi Jill

Welcome to Rootschat  ;D

I can't answer your question but there are many chatters out there with an incredible amount of knowledge between them, so hopefully someone will answer your request soon.

Google searching returns many references to the family and some of their Buckingham & LOndon properties, I'm sure there are more than those listed.

I also discovered this online archive

http://www.rothschildarchive.org/ta/

Maybe they can help.

Thanks very much for your reply Dawn and for the website address for the archives.  Several of my ancestors worked for the Rothschilds so I hope I can find out more.
