My family (BOYLE) came from this area in the mid 1800s. Does anyone have connection to this family or place?.
My grandfather, Francis son of Francis and Rose was born on 15th January 1869, home address is the townland of CORRAHOASH in the parish of KILLINAGH. The townland of Corrahoash is located approximately four miles north of Dowra village close to the borders of Cavan and Leitrim.
I believe births etc, were recorded in the Superintendent Registrar’s District of Holywell just over the border in Fermanagh.
