good bet its him , age is correct and death is in hackney same dist. that hes livin in on 1871 census .

will have a look to see if i can find his wife as widow on 1881 census .

Yes there is a Mary Freeman  58yrs  b1823  Ireland in the 1881 census  a lodger, market gardener labourer, widow in Lewisham Lee, Kent ( maybe part of greater London)

Thanks again. I found that one too but the GR  image I get for that one does not show a  Mary Freeman. Does the one you access? Furthermore, she is 4 years older than the predicted age.

helen jane hoyte freeman - from a mourning card   died 14 Sept 1883
was always looking for her in england, never thought of belfast, but should have.

I have all the hoyte / booth  families and census. coule never figure out the freemans

knew about being left at train station  - but they had name tag on.

i have letters from annie freeman archer (married to william freeman archer) to her sister in law.  They were married in 1905 1st q 
william freeman and  annie irene armstrong.

isabel Hoyte  married john arthur craig accountant to corporate leather trade

have a couple of pictures of Helen Jane and Richard.
first time using this chat.

Note: Ellen is a common name in Ireland while in Scotland Helen is the more common form of the name.

Thanks obbie, I have been on that site many times and I am registered  there.

Always looked for Helen but did not get anything before have paid for Ellen Freeman  details and it looks like it is her. She is burried in the City Cementry, Belfast. Little details are give but it said the person who bought the grave was an R.Freeman.
