Drogheda Night Watch

I am interested in obtaining any information, photographs, etc referring to the Drogheda Night Watch/ Town Watch/ Night Police.

The unit, which was organised by the Corporation of Drogheda, was wound down in 1905.
The Watch had a Watch House in Peter Street, Drogheda, which was also the House of Correction.
I have been in touch with local history sources and Drogheda Borough Council but to date have not been able to glean anything further.

Any information or suggestions gratefully received.

My husband's people were from Drogheda.

Yes, I have spoken to the Old Drogheda Society people at Millmount Museum but haven't learnt any more so far.
