SMITH & JONES, the battle !
« on: Tuesday 05 April 05 08:13 BST (UK) »
On the Surname Interests Table: 481 RootsChatters are searching for 3714 Surname Interests

SMITH made a flying start and has stayed clearly in the lead, but then JONES started catching up and SMITH had to work hard to stay ahead.

But JONES has now now put on a spurt, and , YES, they've drawn level, and it's neck-and-neck as they race along at 26 all .....

After a brief moment of glory --- neck and neck with SMITH at 26 --- JONES has faded again,
but is staying a close second with 28 to SMITH's 30.

Way, way back down the field, the next three are battling it out, with only 1 point difference between them -

#3 : TAYLOR 16
#4 : WILLIAMS 15
#5 : DAVIES 14

The Welsh are certainly the clear winners, here !

My mother is a Smith. No Jones in my family that I am aware of.
