Hi,

Looking for any info on brothers William and Clare BATTAMS who
emigrated from Northamptonshire England to Montana.

William Battams born November 1853 Northants emigrated 1881.
Naturalized 1896 Fergus County, Lewistown.

Clare Battams born July 1861 Northants. Emigrated 1883.

In 1900 census they were farming in Lavina,Fergus, Montana.

Looking for marriages (if any) deaths or further census information.
Any info or help much appreciated.

also they are listed as Owners of the Property along with Joseph Albright
Property has a Mortgage and it is a Farm
Sheep no doubt!!
No address or clue as to where they are located other than the township details

There is no 1890 US Census, tried 1910 & 1920, but nothing in Montana

The 1910 Census is very poorly transcribed & set up at Ancestry.com.
Almost none of the pages fit to the person you are searching, I went back and forth several pages and did a County [Fergus] with only first names and born England, also a soundex search and still nothing? Sorry It could not be more.
