Furlong in Bristol
« on: Friday 03 September 10 00:28 BST (UK) »
Any information regarding my ancestor Everard George Vernon Furlong would be of great interest. He was later known as Rev. George Furlong.

Yes, to the Australia question. He was a Methodist and went to Australia and then onto Samoa where he witnessed and photographed the Volcano eruption in Savaii. That was in the early 1900s. He did return to the UK on the SS Banffshire.

My aunt told me he had some connection with Bristol. Maybe other Furlongs?

Thanks for all the detective work!
