Is that a sunhat on the floor, to the right of the picture?

I scanned this photo while at my mom's in Indianapolis Indiana USA.  I called her to go get the photo again and she said on the back it appeared to have an ink stamp of photograper business on Alabama Street Indianapolis.  She can not read the name of the Photo Studio, but I am sure these folks lived in Indianapolis or surrounding area.

You all certainly have good eyes and have pointed out some great details.  Keep'um coming!!!

I am wondering, Broomer, if this should be put onto the Photographs Recognition and Dating board because there are people in there who are absolutely brilliant at dating photos such as this one.  It is truly a beautiful image and all the people seem to be so full of character, so it really deserves as much exposure as possible.
