There is a probate for William Beecham who died 28 September 1945 of 122 Clarendon Road, Hove Sussex.
Probate date 31 December 1945 to widow ALICE Beecham £117.5s .6d

It's possible he mentioned his children.

It looks like the son Walter Parsons (3-11-1931) was in Debden Suffolk ref: 1939 register

There is a web site for former Barnardo's children where you can get your records

https://www.barnardos.org.uk

Also "Former Barnardo's children" has a good web page with PDF forms to complete to get the child's
records

Well aware of that. Saw no benefit in withholding new info.  :)

That web site is always worth a visit especially if you have Brighton, Hove and Portslade roots  ;D

Alice Beecham who appears on the probate record may be Alice K Beecham who married William Beecham in Brighton in 1916. They had several children prior to that date and possibly one after. Could it be that Stanley lived in Gladstone Terrace for a while in the house of his father’s wife?

Also, the date of death given for Ellen Parsons of 1939 (on the other board and on Ancestry under Charles Parsons) doesn’t quite match up with records. There’s an Ellen Parsons who died in 1938 in Brighton, but the record says she was 74, which would make her DOB about 1864. That’s 10 years older than William. Raises question marks…
