*COMPLETED* Church Stretton parish records 1819 - BOWEN, Benjamin

Hi,
I'm trying to find the mother's maiden name for Benjamin Bowen, Feb. 17, 1819 Church Stretton.  Father also Benjamin Bowen; mother is Jane somebody.
Is anyone able to help with this?

Have you tried the IGI Pilot website?  There is one in 1807 to a Jane Roberts

That sounds about right CaroleW, as their first child was born 1809.  The marriage took place in St. Marys in Shrewsbury.  Any way to get any further info on that?

There will be very little else - marriage entries for that period are quite sparse

It will not give their respective ages - just "full" or "minor" (ie) under or over 21yrs

No fathers names will be shown

If either had been married previously it will show widow/widower

The witnesses names will be shown
