Looking for Ernest J Bosher in the 1901 census.I cant seem to find him or the family.
He was born 1888 Essex .
Parents i think John Thomas Bosher B1864 Rotherhithe,Surrey.
                        Clara E.Bosher,dont know maiden name,born 1870,Borough,Middlesex.

Census 1891 i found this info on.23 Dongola Road Westham
John Bosher
Clara E Bosher
(Ernest J Bosher)
Jane .L Bosher

Census 1911
John Thomas Bosher
Clara Emily Bosher
Jane Bosher
Alfred Bosher
William Bosher
John Thomas Bosher

Ernest J Bosher not being  at that address as he married in 1908 to a Ellen Amelia Mead.
But i cant seem to find any record for the previous ten years ,can anyone help?

If you're looking on Ancestry he's been transcribed as Earnest T Bosher, age 13 born East Ham, Essex
RG13; Piece: 1603; Folio: 48; Page: 29

Why would they have changed his middle name? Ernest John Bosher B1888 went on and married Ellen Amelia Mead and they had a son Ernest John Bosher B 1912 he was my grandad so i cant understand why that would be.Unless the first Ernest John Bosher born 1888 middle name  got mixed up with his son's .Ernest John Bosher b 1888 fathers middle name was thomas, maybe this is the mix up.
Any explanation would be great.

Thanks

Arwen  :)

If you look at the census page, it just looks as though the J has been mistranscribed as a T.  Are you able to look at it, or do you need full details?

Just like to say thanks to Dazey999 for finding the Bosher family that i was looking for.
The name "Bosker "had been wrote down incorrectly and should have read Bosher .
This was the problem and i drove Dazey a little nuts with my family tree and all the E. Bosher's in the line.

Thanks very much for all your time and patience.
Excellent researcher

Arwen :)

Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for that.Clara's mother was on the census Ann Collins as mother-in-law which then helps me trace Clara's side. Dazey 999 had found the Bosher's for me and the siblings. This is brilliant as my grandfather never spoke off his siblings. This made researching difficult ,but looks alot more hopefull now.

Thanks for the marriage ,not sure if i had the actual year, memory is shocking. :)
