the fathers name is actually jonas george hewish
i have the marriage of the parents in october 1851 at st anne,s soho

thanks for that
i did have the other censuses posted and all the baptisms marriaages etc but not the 1841 census
it really is the 1861 census of the family of jonas and jane that i am after
and the 1851 census of jonas before his marriage to jane
on nearly every census i have found they have been mistransribed
the 1841 census is interesting
i did not know about a richard hewish(that needs further investigation)
the thomas.n. is actually thomas william

that richard on the 1841 has me perplexed
i can see the birth in 1840 of a richard william hewish
and the 1841 census
but after this nothing in any records
can anyone find him after 1841?
