There is an Ontario birth registration for Norah Elizabeth Mcdonald b. November 6, 1911 at 2255 St. Clair Avenue Toronto with parents Wm John Mcdonald and Elizabeth Anna Matthews.  This birth registration format asked for a bit more information and gave the parents marriage date as Jan 9, 1904, England.  His occupation at the time was labourer.

Death registered for Wm. John McDonald of 27 Mould Avenue Toronto by his wife Elizabeth McDonald.  Death at age 58  on Feb 22, 1931.  Cause:  chronic bronchitis and asthma 10 years and fatigue 1 year.  Occupation:  testing radiators.
b. England s/o William McDonald of England and Mary Ann (maiden name not given) of England.  Buried Park Lawn Cemetery.
