How"good" are you

I am trying to trace Andrew Falconer Good born about 1898 somewhere in Scotland. Family stories say there is no father's name on his birth certificate but his mother may have been a servant working at a big house. 
At some stage, Andrew emigrated to NZ - still looking for a date but possibly 1922, and then in 1922 he married Margaret Alice Snowdon. He died in Timaru, NZ in 1969.
Margaret may also have been born in Scotland, about 1902. She also died in Timaru NZ in 1941.  Can find her birth in NZ or England so possibly also scottish.

Any ideas anyone ?

Thanks everyone. Will followup on those leads.

Supposedly, there is no father so not sure about the 1901 listing.  I have also found that Andrew enlisted in the NZ army in the WW1 so he must have emmigrated early 1900.
I have checked immigration lists -  is there a seperate one for Scottish immigrants or would they still show on the listings showing on the various websites ?

As for children, will need to check that out
