Hi,

Cairneyhill or Cairnhill, south of Dunse near Wedderburn Castle.

Look for the A6112 Duns to Coldstream, across to the right a B road.

Have you looked at the maxwellancestry web site?

Unfortunately the cottages that are there now have been built about 1846 and this makes it difficult to say with any degree of certainty where the earlier cottages where. We have added notes to this affect on the website, as we always do when a location is not certain.

We do intend to link the whole of Berwickshire to maps however the process has been a little slow in the last few months as we have been focusing on publishing new material.

If you have any other locations you would like mapped just let me know and I will try and get them mapped a.s.a.p.
