Maher in London 1830s

Hello;
  I am looking for the parents or family of Francis Maher, b about 1810.  He married Jane Acton from Sutton at Hone Kent in 1836 at St John Hackney parish in London.  In the 1841 census he was apparently not born in the county.   He was a fishmonger and died at Guy's Hospital in 1847.  The family lived in the Love Lane, Eastcheap area of London at this time. He was buried in the Sutton at Hone St John the Baptist churchyard.
  Any ideas for further searching or similar interests would be appreciated.

Not the parentage, but hopefully useful info - he was apparently in business with a George Stevenson in Lower Thames Street until 1846: http://www.london-gazette.co.uk/issues/20611/pages/2112 (second column).
