i am trying to find a street where 1 of my family lived in the 1900 but i cant find it on any maps they lived at 24 saint michaels square manchester any one have any ideas where i could find a map that will have this st on it

I wonder if it was near St Michael's Church in Ancoats? If you tell me the name I'll see if I can find them on the 1901 census.

my great grand father lived there he was called michael mcquade i know he lived there in 1927 but not sure how long he was at that address before 1927

There are no Michael McQuade's living in Manchester on the 1901 census so he either moved there after 1901 or he was living somewhere else. Do you have any other informattion such as his age around 1901 or whereabouts he was born even a rough date of his death would help?

all i know about  michael mcquade is that he married norah smears at st peters church liverpool and that was in 1901
