Mike,
Can I just give a word of caution. Have you seen documental evidence that Albert's, Agnes's and Horaces mother is recorded as Fiffy Amy Woodhouse. The reason for asking is that sometimes other peoples research does go adrift on occastions taking you away from factual info. If Fiffy Amy is the mother then her death in1924 as Fiffy a Woodhouse ref Romford 4a 445 indicates she did not marry Horace.
On another note, if Horace was the father he fathered children until c1916. Albert's first marriage in 1940 records father as deceased. Therefore he died between 1916-1940. Freebmd and Ancestry show no likely candidates. If he was a soldier there's a strong possibility he died in ww2. Need to try and establish if any Horace Wodhouses died in ww2

john thanks for the word of warning will take note. I have not seen documentary evidence of fiffy as being their mother i have seen this; Woodhouse  Albert B mother Woodhouse    Chelsea v1a page552 as i said earlier i think horace, angnes and albert were born out of wedlock from discussions with other members of my family, and their mother died giving birth to a child later in her life, name of woolmore i believe,  it appears that most of what i have been reading ties up with what i have heard, another rumour was their father was clergy and had nothing to do with any of the them, hence them being put into homes, and maybe horace woodhouse as father was just put on the certificate, does this make sense to you.

Mike,
Thanks for being understanding. I would strongly recommend purchasing if pennies allow Albert's birth certificate. This will or will not rubber stamp your research. Have found an interesting 1901 census entry, rg13 1838 10 12.
Shows
Albert E Woodhouse 33 born Norwich
Margaret 34
3 children
HORACE WOODHOUSE 6 Born Norwich.
Keep a note of this one. If Horace named his first son after himself then second son was after his dad??

John

ps 1891 census rg12 354 40 39 has
Amelia Woodhouse 28 Plumstead
JEFFREY 3 born Shadwell (this I believe to be FIFFY)
Frederick 1 born Shadwell
as per baptism record!!

hello again john have now received dads bc but alas no fathers name only deceased and occupation soldier, this seems to tie in with fiffy amy woodhouse's children born after dad and named father as george e woolmore b.1872 - 1939 gunner rha, and her last child registered as fiffi ann woodhouse b. 1924 the year she died, fiffy woodhouse was working as a cook at jubilee place chelsea and her address at the time of dads birth was 250 kings road chelsea as on bc.

hi john i have checked out the above all the dates above seem to marry up with what i already have but i have come across a couple of trees on ancestry although names are the same some of the dates and birth places are not the same, should i ignore these on ancestry and if i send for alfreds and floras marriage cert would that verify their parents,
many thanks michael
