Can anyone read the names of witnesses please!
« on: Wednesday 15 September 10 12:21 BST (UK) »
I have found a marriage of an ancestor on Ancestry..but I can't read the witness names. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The marriage is in Acton, Ealing on 17th March 1814 between Wm Sharp and Elizabeth Mainwaring.

Hi Emma,

One witness is George Drury who is also a witness to another marriage on the same page.

The other witness's name looks like George Peame/Deame/Leame - but not too sure  ???

Wm Sharp, residing in this Parish, and Elizabeth Mainwaring of this Parish were married by Banns on the 17 th of March 1814 by C A Richardson................
witnesses George Drury and George Peame.....there is a small loop at the base of the P so it could be a faded D or L........

They were the only couple to marry in that Parish within 5 years with those spellings of surnames

ps Did you ever find where you can buy the Parish records for Hinderwell.......
