Dobell where would he be buried
« on: Wednesday 15 September 10 21:10 BST (UK) »
I have a death certificate for Fred Dobell who died 20 May 1950 in Ashton under Lyne. I have checked on Tameside's burial search and on Manchester's but not found him. He was born in Nantwhich and was there on the 1901 census but in Old Trafford Manchester on the 1911 . Does anyone have any ideas as to where he could be burried?

I cannot answer your question directly but you may find that his death/burial was recorded in the local Press.
Ashton u Lyne is currently in Greater Manchester / Lancashire so a question on that board may elicit a look up.  Depending on where you live an email or visit to the local library may prove useful.
