netherwood cottage

my great, great granparents living netherwood cottages kirkcudbright 1871 census, lost them after this can anyone help. william and jane stewart, he was a shepherd and agricultural worker.

william born 1815 rerrick kirkcudbright; 1837 marries jane mcconnell. got them and children through to 1871, but can't find them from then on. grandchildren living with them 1871, one of which thomas born in troqueer 1865 i'm descended from.

Netherwood cottage is in or near the town of  Dumfries according to the 1871 census

William died there on 17th April  1871 of pneumonia, aged 56.

I don't see Jane either in the deaths or on the 1881 at the moment. Do you know where the rest of the family were in 1881?  Found - see below

Found Jane on the 1881, I think.

Kelton Village, Caerlaverock, Dumfriesshire

There's a death entry on Scotlands People for Jane Stewart, other name McConnell, aged 83, Irvine, Ayrshire in 1902
