Properties by Ewyas Harold and Orcop

My ancestor Joshua Jones, born 1774 and married Mary Rowberry( Rowbree) 17.02.1817.
Mary´s father gave both and a brother from Mary properties by Ewyas Harold and Orcop.
I have maps from there but try to find out how called this own land and what is happend with that.

Hi Ani Da,

Similarly to your other thread, I think the best place to contact is Herefordshire Record Office.

They will hold the tithe and enclosure maps for Ewyas Harold (early 19th century) and that may show who owns the properties, and whether they are rented or not.  Herefordshire Record Office should also be able to give you some pointers as to where else you could find info.

That's ok - it can lead to annoyance if you keep asking the same thing though.  You will have to try the record office and see what they say.  Easy enough to send an email.
