Ronnie George b . Bristol 1922 d .1989 played football for Crystal Palace in the late 40s and early 50s . He also played a few games for Colchester and lived in the immediate area . He mrd . Pearl ( Bull ? ) Mar 1/4 1947 within the district of Sodbury ( outskirts of Bristol ) . Believed they had one child Gordon who has died since himself .
Anyone have any information on Ronnie and Pearl to aid my recent treeline  ?

Sudbury not Sodbury ( an outlying dist . of Bristol ) . Ronnie worked for Bristol Aero . Company prior to moving to London which is near to the Sodbury area nr . Bristol . Thanks for your correction to my original info .

Further information from within my immediate family is that they ran / owned a small chain of fashion shops in the 50 s and 60 s in the colchester area .
The name of the shops was possibly - MODES or something similar .

Does anyone remember these shops even jog memories of them  ?
Does anyone know where they lived in the Colchester area  ?

If you have Ancestry Modes is listed in the British Phonebooks in Colchester from mid 1950's to mid 1970's.
