There was a family of Havard's arrived in NZ in 26 Feb 1879 from Brecon,Wales

William aged 27,his wife
Elizabeth aged 23,and children
Elenor A aged 2
Sarah E aged 9 months

Hi Janette & anyone else who also may be able to help.

Re your last posting, I have found the family on my tree. I know that Elizabeth was born in NZ but they may have got married in Wales if they subsequently came back with the 2 children.
Eleanor married Wilheim Heinrich Eggers around the end of 19th century (first child born 1900). I will check England/Wales marriage records but could someone check NZ records as well please.
Sarah unfortunately died in May 1879.
They did go on to have a further 8 children, all I believe in NZ. I have good records for Eliza J. and  some for most of the other children. (Mary H., Frances M., William J. Fred G., Maggie S., Alice R. & Fannie E.) If anyone can find any more details about any of this family, it would be very much appreciated.
