Heywood,

I decided against it , because on checking require payment in Euros not £s  , and I do not know for certain who is Catherine /Marys Mother . it could be Margaret ? trying to find further details .

Regards

Tony

Hi Tony
Apologies for not replying sooner.Idid not get a chance to call to the parish priest yet.
the only thing i can find from my own records is the following
Denis Allen and Mary Hackett
daughter Mary born 20th oct 1869
sponsors Fanny Breen and James Turner
Son Denis born 16th feb 1873 .
sponsors John Allen and Catherine Lyons
This probably confuses things more but I will try parish records for a more definative answer.
regards and happy new year john

John,

Best wishes to yourself and family , I have been kindly led to believe from previous message
(Heywood) that there is possibly two Denis Allens around the same period one as you
state Marrying Mary Hackett and the other who moved to Liverpool Marrying Margaret ?

I hope I haven't confused the issue .

Regards

Tony

Hello,

well that's what I think  :)

I can't remember now- but do you definitely know that your Denis was from that area?
