Family Tree Maker - Professional printing
« on: Sunday 19 September 10 19:29 BST (UK) »
I bought the "Family Tree Maker" (Who do you think you are) CD/program 12 months or more back and have only finished just loading my ancestors.

I am told that I can get it professionally printed on a long strip of paper, please can anybody advise on people who do this and at what sort of cost, thanks !

Any local print or copy service should be able to do it for you. Just use the export to PDF function within the program (it can be found under share in later versions of FTM) and take the saved file along to the the print service and they should be able to do it for pounds!  :)

From FILE I go to
EXPORT FILE and then
ENTIRE FILE but it only allows me to save it as a .FTW or a .GED, there is no option for a .PDF

am I in the wrong place ?   I cant see anything for SHARE

Do you know what version of FTM your Who Do You Think You Are CD is based on? Share is in the Publish tab of later versions of FTM (2008 onwards). You have to create a chart first and then in the top right is the option to share.
