You are a pal,   Janette - not sure if I need them - do I?  looks as if he was insolvent!!!!!   Love the photo of him looking out the window - doesn't give too much away does it!!

Great find on the history - do you reckon that's his photo beside the history!

 - and - as I thought - it wasn't luxury when the Pye's were there by the sound of things!!!!    :'( :'(   Ah well - he founded it anyhow!!    ;D

So - how did you find out it was 1831 if it is closed beyond that??   :-\ ::)  But thanks for that anyhow!!  ;)

I noticed there were a few other Pyes at the Cemetery, maybe relatives, if so, they might have done something with the ashes.

Cheers

 :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[   Thanks Janette    :-[ :-[

thank goodness He wasn't insolvent - I thought maybe it had taken that long for his will to be sorted out!!!    ;D
Of course there would be other Alan Pyes!!  Silly me.   I wonder if it is worth trying to get his birth place in Ireland - and to think he isn't even a blood rellie - why am I getting sidetracked!!  ::)
It's his wife I'm interested in!   ;)   ;D   I only have one photo of her in 1894 - she looks like a boy!

Yeah - actually I assumed it was!!  Just making sure!!   ;)
If they are rellies in the cemetery that means Alan may have come out with his family - 'cos they didn't have children them selves that I know of!  Interesting!!!

Gee you lot are efficient -
