"Merridale House Tavern" wolverhampton?

Ive just come across one of my relatives living in 1871 at Merridale Hosue Tavern, the next address in the street is merridale street, does anyone know where the pub was? was it todays chindit? or alexandria? (thinks thats how you spell the last one LOL, could be Alexander)

Its not the Merridale Arms is it? (though for the life of me I cant think where that is) address given as Merridale Street WV3 0RA. Update its near Penn Road ring road  :)
