Sue - Thanks for the additional info.  I have been able to find a lot about the rest of the family, but Thomas Henry is proving elusive.

Mariac- Thanks for your help.  He died in 1958, so that makes sense.

Cando - Thanks for your continued help.  The link proved useful.  My grandfather is actually listed, but with incorrect spelling in surname. KEAU instead of  KEAN.

Cando - my grandfather, Ivy and William all moved to Brisbane, but Margaret died in Toowoomba, so her records may be around that area.

Hi Michelle,

1905 Queensland State Electoral Roll (He does not appear before this but as he is only 24 in 1905 he would not have been on the roll in 1900)

KEAN Thomas Henry aged 24 Upper Tenthill Gatton Farm Lab qualification residence date claim received 22 Jun 1905

1910/1915 Queensland State Electoral Roll

KEAN Thomas Henry Upper Tenthill Gatton Farm Lab qualification 22 Jun 1905
KEAN Mary Elizabeth Upper Tenthill Gatton Home Duties qualification 7 Jan 1908 (1910) - 8 Jan 1908 (1915)

Cheers Kris  :)

Kris,

The Thomas Kean in the 1895  maybe the Thomas Kean who arrived in 1884 at 27 on the Duke of Devonshire.

The 1888 Brisbane PO Directory and Countyry Guide has a

City Street Directory

High St Milton
Kean Thomas, Blacksmith

Hi Kris - Thanks for your work. I have a birth year!! Yay!

Gerry - Thanks for your help, as we have now established a birth year of 1881, Thomas would have only been 7 in 1888. Probably not same Thomas???
