The above couple married on 13 July 1886 in Manhattan - I've got the info on the IGI pilot site. I'd be really grateful if someone with much better knowledge of US records could check if there is anything further on them out there!

Do you have any idea if they were born in the states and how old they were in 1886, please?

Do you know if they were in the states in 1900?

The marriage certificate names Margaret as "Sidley" not "Lidley"...is that right?

Hi Folks,

I know that William Hugh was born in Co Antrim either Larne or Belfast not sure about Margaret.  After I posted the original request I came across the entry on the Italian NY site that gives Margarets name as Sidley so not sure which is correct.
