Hello Allie,

The Mary HUMPHRIES you found with daughter Mary is my group.
Mary is living with her son-in-law James CARESWELL and daughter Mary on the 1861 at Longden Common. She is listed as being 73 years old.

There is a Richard HUMPHRIES in the same area. I am wondering if he might be a son to Mary. Could you check the 1851 census for him?
He was born c.1825.

Hi Linda :)

Apologies for taking so long to get back to you, I've had to work :(

I have had another look through this area for you. There is no proper address for Mary I'm afraid. The only part that is visible is ? wood in the Pontesbury parish.
The next page though is Longdon Common and there is a Longdon Wood in the index. I don't want to presume to much though.

Also I had no luck with Richard.
