William Henry LAWLER
« on: Friday 24 September 10 09:35 BST (UK) »
Above lad born Westmeath (where) 1807? - who were his parents - did he have siblings?  At some stage he and/or his family shifted to Yorkshire.  William Henry married Jemima PEACOCK there in 1832.  She was daughter of William & ? Peacock.  Any help appreciated.

Due to the dates involved you are going to need parish records to find  details. Do you know what religion the family were ?

You also need to know a parish (or townland) to establish if records exist for the dates you need.

Hi Shane, I know I am "stabbing in the dark" particularly with Irish records.  Have the F/tree from William Henry's marriage forward.  I have no idea wot religion - myMum- William's ggranddaughter, was raised Catholic - from the mother's Todd side I suspect.  However the Lawler clan emigrated to Norfolk Island, Tasmania, then Victoria Australia over a couple of generations, and there is no church stuff mentioned that I can remember.  I will scutinise the info I've got for more clues.
Thanks for your response. Capricorngirl - New Zealand :)
