This isn't the same McAleer family that I researched a few years ago. Some of the details you have don't seem to match up to records/lack of records.

The 1922 marriage for Charles McAleer gives his address as 20 Lower Major St. which is the same address listed on death registration of John McAleer in 1934 that I posted earlier (reply #5). I Also posted the death of a young child John McAleer at the same address later in 1934. So, those three records are your family. John's death in 1934 shows that Mary is still alive.

Now, onto your last post with more details.

Here's the family in 1911- John & Mary both age 14, son Charles age 14 (so born c1897 not 1903) and married 26 years (when John & Mary were 14?) with 3 children/2 living.

However, Rosanna and Matthew were both dead before 1911-
Rosanna (1909-1910)

Matthew (1906 Waterford-1909 Dublin)- born 9 Jan. not 13th?

I also found this birth for a Mary Catherine McAleer on 28 Apr.1899 at Barrack St., Strabane with parents John McAleer, labourer, and Mary McLaughlin-

1911 census given John, wife Mary and son Charles as born Co. Tyrone (link posted in reply #11). No sign of this Charles McAleer/McLeer in 1901 census with parents John & Mary as far as I can see so far.

Where was this marriage? if John was born 1871 and married age 27 it should be around 1898 which is shortly before birth of Mary Catherine in 1899 to John McAleer & Mary McLaughlin.

So, how do you know John was born 10 Dec.1871 in Newtownstewart? Do you have something to back this up or assuming it is the correct record going by age in 1901 or something else?

I am looking for some sort of confirmation that the John McAleer born 10 Dec.1871 in Newtownstewart to John McAleer and Sarah Kerr is the same person as your ancestor John McAleer who died in Dublin i n 1934.

Possible death for John's widow Mary? (in 1951 which is much later than 1934 you originally posted)
