Strange goings on here
James Spinlow 23 in 1911 is James Spindlow age 11 in 1901 with his mother Fanny A Spindlow (Frances Ann)
Frances Ann Lavery married James Spindlow
Jan March 1887
Armagh vol 1 page 45
On the 1911 census she is 40 but has reverted back to her maiden name of Lavery and is single?
In 1901 James Spindlow is either 35 or 55 at Malone Lr ,Windsor Ward on the Lagan canal, inland navigation skipper? aboard Lighter'' Eliza.''

Hi,
14 Jun 1901 Letitia Spindlow, father Robert, married Samuel Brown in Mariners Church of Ireland, Shankill, Belfast. It Looks like her in the 1911 census in Rosebury Road, Ormeau. The census states that she was born in Tyrone.

There were 7 children-Margaret, Emily, Robert, Mary, John, James & William.    Robert (1842-1892) m Jane Murphy (1850-1940) on 25-05-1866. They had lots of children some of who are buried with them in Coalisland: Lizzie, Annie, Madge, Robert, James & William who died 03-11-1947. No mention of a wife. Could this be the William you are looking for?
