Chas Luther was her second husband - first was James Johns. Frederick Johns was their son and appears with her in 1881.  ;) ;)

I can't find him either TU after 1881, not in the cenuses or in deaths from Freebmd.

No sign of Charles George Luther either. Could they have emigrated, although I would have thought they might be too old. The name might be transcribed incorrectly.

 ;D ;D ;D ;D

I think the death of the Charles George Luther you found is correct as it fits age wise and is about the right place. However, I don't think the Harriet one is right, I think that is another Harriet who was born in 1834 in Shropshire. (She was the one married to John Luther)

So we are still looking for Harriet's death.
Jan

EDIT: Just realised that can't be the correct death as according to the 1881 George was born 43, so born in 1838, therefore in 1924  he would have been 86 not 63 as that one was.  ??? ??? So they all seem to have disappeared completely.  :( :( :(
