Hi

If you look at birthplaces on the 1851 census the oldest male Blower giving that birthplace was born circa 1808. A widow also gives Hillingdon as her birthplace born circa 1794. The 1841 census gives a John Blower in Hillingdon workhouse, but not necessarily born in Hillingdon aged 48 and an Ann Blower aged 60 with three teenage male Blowers.

There doesn't appear to have been a Blower marriage in Hillingdon in the C18th at least post 1754. The first appearing in the register is in 1808 William Blower to Ann Watson. William was buried in Hillingdon in 1837 aged 48
Checking the parish register for baptisms and burials would give a more accurate picture for a 'starting date'.

Regards

Valda
