Lincs/Notts Parish Register Look Up for Jane Lynn

I wonder if anyone can help please with Lincolnshire and possibly Nottinghamshire parish records?
I am looking for a Jane Lynn born between 1826 and 1828 in Brandon or Balderton area. Both are near Newark and both in different counties.

There are 2 on the IGI - one in Lincs 1827 and another in Notts in 1827 but spelt as Lyne

Do you have a copy of her marriage cert showing her fathers name

This is the 1841 for Balderton Notts - relationships were not shown in 1841 and ages from 16 upwards were rounded down to the nearest 5yrs

Also - exact birthplaces are not shown - just whether or not they were born in the county in which they were living at that time.  Neither Joseph or Sarah were born in county but all others were

Sarah   60
Amelia 20
Jane 15
Sarah Rochester 2
Robert Makin 20 servant
George Townson 20 shoemaker

If she married Thomas Paulson in 1848 - the marriage is on the IGI Pilot website at

Both fathers were called William which matches the Lincoln baptism on the IGI

I think she was the Jane who married Mr Paulson so her father was definitely William. The Jane you found in the census must be the other one as she is living in Joseph's house. I'm not sure where my Jane would be as she doesn't seem to be with her parents - unless she had moved to live with the Joseph Lynn family - perhaps the other Jane had married and moved away?
I don't know but I would be happier if I could locate her precisely in the 1841 census.
Do you have any more thoughts?

She could well be the g/daughter of Joseph and Sarah

In 1851 - Joseph and Sarah are living in Lincs
