thanks for all your help on this can u tell me if i can get the NBI and BVNI on cd from anywhere to further my research with other areas of my family tree

The NBI is available from the FFHS at http://www.ffhs.org.uk/projects/nbi/nbi-overview.php. But check the coverage first to make sure it will be of help to you, as some counties are not well covered

The BVRI can be obtained from the LDS. Again check http://www.genoot.com/downloads/BVRI2/ for coverage to make sure it will be useful to you. NO IT CAN'T! It was discontinued in Aug 2008. The good news is that it's available now on Ancestry, so if you subscribe you already have access to it.
