What does the marriage cert for Joseph and Maud say regarding Joseph's father's name/occupation?  Does it say deceased also?

I think you mean Marco's marriage certificate ?   The bride's father was shown as being alive.

You could perhaps get the birth certificate for Maria Civitas (registered as "Corsi") which would give you Dominica's maiden name...........

Yes, I'll try and do that.   I've also noticed quite a few Corsi children born in the Holborn area that don't figure on any censuses, so I guess there were quite a few infant deaths.

Hi Nick

No, I definitely mean Joseph!  Reginald Charles Corso was your friend's grandfather; he was the son of Joseph (Guiseppe) and Maud; they appear to have married in 1900 in Windsor; what does it say for Joseph's father on that record?  Does it agree with the information on Mark's (Marco's) marriage record that we already know about?

Regards
Maryam

I'll have to check with my friend about Joesph's certificate - I'm only assisting in the research  :)
