there is a tree on A* but can't find him on the 1841 census. 1851 living in northumberland with wife Mary and children.

Francis and Jane seem to be still alive in 1861.
Francis is born c 1789, Gateshead, Durham and Jane c 1790, Houghton Le Spring and they are in Ashington and Sheepwash, Northumberland
Francis is a Widower in 1871 living with Son Edward born c 1823, Newbottle.

Hello trish1120,  i have got back to you at last and what a lot of lovely info which i appreciate you for taking the time to look them up and the 1851 census has the birth places which the one i got sent didn`t. I have the 1861 census.   I now can put the info on my tree and look on the pilot site for other stuff when i get round to it.
