Hello Carol,i had another look at the library for your queries,the death of Harry Varney 1928 does not appear in the Leighton Observer,i looked at the following three weeks or so.I was luckier this time with the Harry Hickford request but it is only a couple of lines in the obituarys and reads as follows:Hickford-On the 6th inst.,at Friday Street,Leighton Buzzard,Henry son of Samuel Hickford aged 24 years.
Im afraid thats all i could find,I hope it is of some help.
