VIC lookup DAVIES
« on: Wednesday 06 October 10 06:37 BST (UK) »
Hi guys

Looking for any possible births to Henry Davies and Bridget Helena England. They married 1873 ref 1830 in Bathurst NSW but after that no trace!
Tried both NSW and QLD to no avail.

Thanx in advance.
Jon

Hi
I am not sure whether you know the names of the parents of your couple.

Perhaps you can say whether this is BRIDGET's death.

Hi Merlin

Thanx for the assist.. I was kinda expecting it for some reason. Looks like another family who have been abducted by aliens and probably won't be seen again  ;)

Merlin

That has to be an understatement. It looks like half of Bathurst was overrun by Englands. I've found most of them except for this couple.
Will keep plodding along  :)

Yeh, saw them on the NSW BDM when I was checking a burial I found at Bathurst cemetery for a Bridget DAVIS who was buried there in 1892. Her death is registered at MOLONG which is about an hour from Bathurst but nothing identifying on the burial record apart from the name, date & plot.

Plus there are heaps of DAVIS at Bathurst also so it's probably not her  :-\

That could be more than half a chance. Just found one of her nephews: -
Walter T England buried at Molong in 1922 ;D

Can you advise me wher to go from here. Is there somewhere I can check further?

Thanx in advance

Jon
