Elizabeth Ann HARROP
« on: Friday 08 October 10 18:32 BST (UK) »
I am looking for any information on the above, birth date, parents etc.

I understand she was born about 1877, no exact date, and married WILLIAM JAMES WEBB in Newport, Monmouthshire on 12th August 1905 before possible emigration to USA.

Any details would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

As you might know freeBMD has a great many woman of this name and of about that year of birth. Most marriages by the way took place with a much younger bride, your would have been 28 at marraige.

However, all of the woman were born in the northern counties and the information we have does not give us any way to tell who was whom.

freeBMD does not even show this marriage and I can't see any likely candidate even in the 1901 census. A mystery.

I haven't come across any children as yet.

That is a mystery, Hackstaple, I am at a loss.
