help please i am trying to scan 2 documents for help in reading the handwriting and every time i try to post them on this site i keep getting a timed out message i have scans of the documents but as i said i cant post them because of timed out message all the time any help most grateful

There is a limit of 500Kb for attachments. Or if your connection is running slow they could be taking too long. If you try again later it may work. Or post them on an archive site such as Image Cave and post links to them instead.

As Ken says the images could be too Large.

To reduce images have a look at the link below, yes it refers to photos, but the same applies to most images.

Sometimes a fuller more detailed image may be required/requested in which case a image hosting site may help, I`ve linked to a few below (Ken - never heard of image cave, but added it - thanks).

You can add a link to your image &/or a thumbnail image.

It reduces the resources required of this site, but as a courtesy to those with slow connections or limited resources, I`ve always added a rider to say its a large download or how large the file is.
