Bit of a longshot, but worth a try, thank you.

Hi Chris

I would definately send letter to that address it will get there without postcode these are small rural townlands.

You mention Ballybay in your earlier post that's about 10KM from Lisnalong

There is also local paper for Monaghan where people can write to Editor looking family tree.Fao Editor Northern Standard.i often see letters sent or you can email.

Only problem is papers won't be selling at moment with corona virus people aren't out.

If no luck let me know I could drop note

Best Regards

S

Thanks for the reply, I'll draft a letter and post it to the address, when all this is over I'll drop a letter to the paper and see what comes back- I'll let you know the outcomes.

Once again thanks,

Chris.

Hi Chris
That's Good
If I were you I would wait see what response you get
If you get no reply in say one  month send letter paper and some one will respond
I would use paper as last resort
I hope Mrs Atkinson replies
Let me know either way
Ok Bye for now
SM

Dear SM,

I live in Birmingham UK, my mother came from Tumgesh Co. Mayo and my father was from
Kilkenny.
What I was going to do was give it until the end of June for a reply to my letter then try that local paper with an email, let's see how we get on first with the letter & email before you pay a visit- they may think were up to something with all the sudden interest with them !!!!!

If you PM me your email address I'll send you some of the paperwork I have regarding his daughter, Elizabeth, my Grandmother.

Best regards,

Chris.
