1831 Francis Farrell son of Bernard Farrell, schoolteacher?
« on: Monday 11 October 10 17:29 BST (UK) »
Francis Farrell arrives between 1851 and 1855 in Bangor, Wales where he marries Bridget Ann Gallagher in 1855

Francis gives his father's name as Bernard on the marriage certificate, occupation schoolteacher.

1861 census - Bangor Wales;  he gives his age as 30, born Roscommon.
1871 census - Bangor Wales; he gives his age as 42, born Kaykill Korky ( spelt as written).
1881 census - Bangor Wales; he gives his age as 54, born Ireland.
1891 census - Bangor Wales; he gives his age as 60, born Ballingar ( as written).

Because I am unsure of where he did come from, I am hoping someone may come across the baptism of Francis son of Bernard circa 1830 in one of those areas..........when I have tried before I found Bernard was not that common a name, so I am asking that you might keep these names in mind if you come across then while looking for your own names.....

I am finding searching for records more difficult in Ireland, I think I need to sudy the place names more....
I would be  grateful for any help....

Thank you
Lee
